    Wild in Pieces: Collage Creatures of Land, Sea and Sky invites viewers into a vibrant world where animals and birds emerge from layers of texture, colour, and imagination. This mixed-media exhibition brings together creatures collaged from recycled magazine paper, birds formed with the fluidity of watercolour and the spontaneity of monoprint, and animals built from hand-painted and collaged tissue paper. Each piece celebrates the beauty and diversity of the natural world while showcasing the possibilities of reimagined materials. Through fragments and layers, Wild in Pieces transforms everyday papers into extraordinary portraits of life on land, sea, and in the sky.

  • Whitby Girls Softball

    Whitby Girls Softball is now open for registration for the 2026 season! WGSA is a great program for girls ages 4–24 to have fun, stay physically active, and develop their softball skills. The season runs from mid-May to mid-August. To register and learn more, visit whitbygirlssoftball.com. They’re looking forward to hitting the diamond this summer and hope you’ll join them!

  • AbZolutely Choir in Concert @ St. Matthew's Church

    Come and enjoy an evening of uplifting and energizing music performed by the Abzolutely Choir joined by the Local Honey Band under the direction of Abby Zotz.

    Tickets are $20 Adults, $10 Children and are available at office@stmatthewsoshawa.ca or at the door.

    Refreshments and door prizes.

  • Light Up The Night (Glow-in-the-Dark Dance)

    It’s time to Light Up The Night!

    Get your glow on as you dance the night away in vibrant neon and multi-coloured lights. Anything you wear that's white or with vibrant colours will glow under black lights as you dance to an illuminating soundtrack that is sure to have you glowing. Wear some glow bracelets or light-up jewelry to enhance your look. We'll even have a face and body painting station in the Ontario Power Generation Atrium to amp up the fun. Add in some themed signature cocktails, treats, interactive activities, prizes and giveaways, and this becomes a dazzling dance party you'll be raving about.

  • WELLSPRING 2026 HOLISTIC FAIR

    The Wellspring 2026 Holistic Fair takes place on April 18 at the Newcastle Community Hall. Free to all attendees. The Fair will feature over 20 local holistic practitioners, retailers, clinics and spas. Separate Speaker Sessions, Mala Bracelet Making classes, Herbal Tea Tastings, Apple Cider Sampling (non-alcoholic), Mini Wellness sessions at the practitioners' tables. Also featuring Pet Therapy. This is a terrific opportunity to learn more about holistic wellness for the whole family. Pre-register for Speaker Sessions and Mala Bracelet classes at wellspring2026clarington@gmail.com
