Don’t be left out! Join the hundreds of visitors who’ve already experienced Be Prepared, an exhibit dedicated to Oshawa’s Guiding and Scouting history. This Family Day, the Oshawa Museum is open from 12 – 4 p.m. for tours of the museum homes and activities associated with the Be Prepared exhibit. Use this as a pre-visit for your guiding or scouting group, and book an evening tour with us!
Check out artefacts used for the game ‘Fortunately/Unfortunately, ’ design future uniforms for the young people of tomorrow, find out what a pollution catcher is, and leave us your favourite memories of guiding and scouting.
Admission is $5 per person. Tickets can be purchased at Eventbrite.com/oshawamuseum or the door. This event starts in Guy House, the yellow building at the Oshawa Museum, in Lakeview Park, Oshawa.
