The Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival is a sure sign of spring. Come out and tap into nature! 2024 Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival March 9 – April 7, 2024  At Bruce’s Mill Conservation Park and Kortright Centre for Conservation.

Enjoy demonstrations, activities … and, of course, real maple syrup! Special family-fun activities on weekends and March break!

Learn about the history of Black and Indigenous enslavement in Canada and notable Black Canadian figures from historian and local author Channon Oyeniran. Her historical children’s novel The Time Travels of Ara: Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad is featured in the Durham Indie Collection. This event is in partnership with the Whitby Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee.
