Need something to do this March Break? The Oshawa Museum is gearing up for an OMazing week of fun in Lakeview Park! All of the fun starts in Guy House!
From Monday to Friday, tours of Robinson House and Henry House ($5 per person) happen on the hour. Drop-in activities happen Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Verna Conant Gallery at Guy House. Admission is $5 per person and includes a tour and activity. And don’t forget to visit the gift shop for all the best Oshawa Museum swag!
Monday – ‘Spring forward’ making clocks, sundials, and sun catcher mandalas to celebrate an extra hour of daylight.
Wednesday – Curious about cameras? Get hands-on with our collection of antique and vintage cameras! Weigh them, compare them to modern cameras and rate our collection! Do you have what it takes to sit still for flashes like the Victorians? Use props and costumes in the gallery to take pics and tag us on your socials!
Friday – Make a Lego artefact and put your art on display at the Oshawa Museum! We provide the Lego, and the kids provide the creativity! Design a label to share your vision and watch the exhibit grow.
