The Odesa Ukrainian Dancers are sponsoring a Vyshyvana Malanka on Saturday January 13, 2024 at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 43, 471 Simcoe St S in Oshawa (just north of the 401).  "Red Boots & Bubbly" is our theme, semi-formal Ukrainian style - we are asking everyone to wear their best embroidered shirt, blouse, skirt, dress, bowtie, etc, rather than a suit, tuxedo or long gown.  This is a family Malanka - everyone is welcome, all ages, bring the entire family.  Enjoy a full sit-down dinner with wine, door prizes, energetic music from Nervy (Нерви), and a special performance by the Odesa Ukrainian Dancers including a traditional Malanka presentation.  This is a not-for-profit event - we just want to get together and have some fun, but if we do make a profit,  all proceeds will be donated to humanitarian support for Ukraine  .

Doors open at 5:30pm with dinner served at 6:00pm.  Tickets are $100 per adult, $50 per student (12-18), $25 per youth (5-11), $25 per Odesa Dancer.  Purchase a 'reserved table' of 8 for $740 to save some money & pre-select your table, otherwise general seating is available throughout the hall.  Tickets must be purchased in advance and will increase by $15 per ticket December 20.  Ticket sales end Dec 31.  No tickets will be available at the door.  There is limited seating capacity so purchase your tickets today by contacting the Odesa Dancers at This email address is being protected from spambots.
