September is in full swing in the GTA!
I’ll be starting my weekend off at the Oshawa Blood Donor Clinic! You can give the gift of life between 8:00am-2:00pm! Blood donors are always needed in Oshawa. Book your appointment in advance at blood.ca.
I’ll be heading to Halenda’s Meats on the Courtice/Oshawa Townline border afterwards to celebrate their 40th Anniversary! Between 10:00am-2:00pm you can visit your local Halenda’s to celebrate with them where you can enjoy free cake, coffee and a BBQ featuring their award winning Kobassa grilled on a bun!
I’ll be heading to the Orono Fair on Saturday afternoon to check out all the rides, food and fun! You can check it out all weekend long at the Orono Fairgrounds. Visit oronofair.com to see everything they’ve got going on including the craft displays, petting zoo, demolition derby and more!
On Sunday morning you can find me at the Port Perry Fairgrounds for the 1st ever Walk For Dementia! Beginning at 11:00am you can come out to help raise awareness and funds to support the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region in North Durham.
I will be in Uxbridge on Sunday afternoon at the Habitat For Humanity Restore. Habitat For Humanity has 3 ReStore locations in Durham. Between Ajax, Oshawa, and Uxbridge you can shop at any one of these locations to help more homes be built in Durham Region! Get more information on habitatdurham.com.
