Warmer weather is on the way and so is a weekend full of fun in the CKDO Events Cruiser!

I’ll be starting Saturday off in Historic Downtown Bowmanville! The annual Maple Fest is taking over King Street all day long! There’s nothing more Canadian than freshly harvested Maple Syrup anf you can indulge in all of it across the four city blocks of the downtown! Don’t miss the hot pancake breakfast as well as the live music to keep you entertained all day!

Afterwards, I’ll be off to the Ajax Creative Arts Splash Of Colour Art Show & Sale! It’s happening all weekend long at the Village Community Centre in Ajax! There are over fifty artists participating in the amazing diverse show! As you take in all the fantastic works of art you can also enjoy treats from Bonnie’s Café where all the proceeds will be going to Bevy of Hope!

On Sunday, the Durham Hike For Hospice will be underway and in addition to the main event in Pickering they have added an extra spot in Whitby this year at the Waterfront Trail, I’ll be starting my day off there and if you aren’t able to make it out for the hike you can always make a donation on durhamhospice.org .

On Sunday afternoon, I’ll be checking out an interesting event in Port Perry as well as the surrounding area! It’s the Scugog Studio Tour where you can check out all sorts of local art and artists on your own time! There are different locations listed on their map which you can find on scugogstudiotour.ca where you’ll have the chance to win prizes while you check out all the talented artists’ work!
